This newly renovated vacation property with WiFi is located less than an hour from Hendersonville, Asheville, Lake Lure, Hickory, and Shelby, NC. Downtown Marion, Rutherfordton, and Forest City are only 25 minutes away. This property has beautiful mountain views and a hot tub to relax in after a day of hiking in the mountains or biking on the Thermal City Rail Trail. There is a fire pit overlooking the mountains which is great for roasting hot dogs or marshmallows. There is an electric fireplace inside to enjoy while snuggling up with your sweetie or reading a good book. This unit has a full bathroom with a shower and a king size bed. It has a small kitchenette with full size refrigerator, counter top convection microwave oven with air fryer, sink, 10 cup coffee maker, toaster, and blender. There is a gas grill and outdoor table/chairs to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or dinner in the evening. This is truly a one of a kind rental.

Cancellation Policy
If you don’t take the cancelation policy and we are able to rebook your nights, we will give up a rain check to come at different dates excluding October and Holidays the rain check is good for up to a year. If you take the cancelations assurance policy we will give full refunds(minus the cancellation assurance policy fee, you must book through our website and take the policy out at time of booking) which is 10% of the total price of your stay. We feel it is a better option for you than us charging a cancellation fee like other properties do. In most cases it is more affordable. There is an option during this reservation process to take out cancellation assurance policy. If you do not take this out upon booking there will be no refunds for cancellations for any reason.
Deposit Policy
We charge half of your stay now (unless your stay is within 30 days then we charge the entire amount) Upon Reserving this property you relieve Cabins of Asheville LLC of any responsibility, including death or injury from any thing you use or do while staying with us. There are many things of danger while here at Cabins of Asheville including but not limited to the hot tub, fireplace, snakes, bears, deer, and general mountain dangers. Your credit card is charged 50% when you reserve your cabin and the remaining 50% One month prior to your stay. If your stay is within one month the entire balance is charged to your card. Your price per night does not include a 7% sales tax, 6% room tax and a $65($75 for cottages) dollar cleaning fee and a $40($50 for cottages) dollar pet fee if you bring your pet. Cleaning fee and pet fee are per stay not per night. We will charge your credit card if you or your pet damage or steal anything from our cabins or cabin property. Which we have never had to and hope we never do. No Smoking inside the properties. No Candles inside or outside of the properties. Check-in is at 3pm or later and Check out is 11am or earlier. Please do not add anything to the hottubs ie (soaps, bubble baths, oils). No refunds will be given for power, internet, hot tub, water or other utility outages or inclement weather we are in the mountains and things go out we do our best to keep things running smoothly (some of these items may be covered by your travel insurance if you choose to get it). Peaceful Paradise!
The cottage was a very nice place to stay for a short trip. It has just enough for 1-2 people to have a great getaway. The hot tub is very nice too, and I’m sure in the winter it’s even better. I’d recommend staying at this serene venue!!
The place was clean, private, and had beautiful views! The hot tub was a nice way to end the days. It feels so remote but not so remote for an Uber Eats delivery. Rutherfordton was a quiet town during our visit. The Purple Martin Greenway Trail was close and it was an easy and relaxing hike and there was a place for our Lab to play in a stream. There was an ice cream shop in downtown Rutherfordton that had delicious ice cream. The Copper Penny had decent food, tasty Bloody Mary’s, and it was dog friendly!
We enjoyed our stay. The host was ALWAYS responsive and helpful. The grass needed cutting and some weed spray would definitely be helpful re: a maintained appearance. A replacement umbrella is needed for the outdoor area; temps are up and coverage is definitely necessary while at the grilling area. A T.V. could also be enjoyable in the sleeping quarters. All in all, it was a nice stay and beautiful scenery!
We absolutely LOVED our stay! We realized we stayed with one of Eric’s other mountain properties “Nice & Knotty” previously and enjoyed that as well! Great host and we will definitely be back, as we have purchased land about 12 miles away! ♥️
it was beautiful and cozy. the bed was a little firm but overall I loved the whole vibe. the view was incredible and perfect for star gazing.

We wanted a quiet getaway for the weekend, this was the perfect place and size to celebrate our anniversary. There was an issue with the air conditioner and Eric was right on it. I fully believe things happen, and how it is handled determines whether we will be back. There was no delay in response time and Eric checked on us the next day. We ate at the Copper Penny in Rutherford for dinner, delishish. Loved the Hot Tub setup, it was clean and private. We will be back for another stay.

I cannot begin to write a glowing review accurate enough to describe Eric's space. We were in a pinch and booked the space with VERY little notice and from the gate, Eric was beyond wonderful.

Loved this Airbnb! Super quiet and peaceful, perfect for a chill getaway. The kitchenette was great, but the cleaning stuff could've been more organized - found some used sponges in the cabinet. Place was spotless, nonetheless.
The grill, hot tub, and firepit were awesome and made everything feel super cozy. There's a big house nearby, but it's far enough for privacy.
This was so easy to book, very private and quiet. If you’re looking for cozy comfort this is definitely it.

This home was the perfect place to escape into nature and a short distance from Asheville! The structure and accommodations were durable and simple.
Eric responded quickly with any questions we had, including some awesome recommendations for food and hiking.
We had the opportunity to go for a run on site. If you run the full pavement, it’s about .5mi. We ran several times and enjoyed the quiet and crisp nature air.

We had a great weekend here. The wife and I enjoyed the hot tub while grilling. The location is quiet and private. Easy to take a pup out for walks and bathroom breaks. Listing is accurate, everything worked as expected.
This place is beautiful! It was very clean. Eric was very responsive and nice. We had a little trouble getting into where the hot tub is, he called and walked us through it. We did see quite a few lady bugs but I think it’s just because it’s in the mountains. Can’t wait to come back ?

The location was perfect. It was so quiet, peaceful and private; exactly what I was looking for. Everything was super clean and tidy. The hot tub and grill in its own little cabana was a perfect added touch. I will definitely be back next time I’m able to run away for a few days.
Place smaller than expected but still nice. The stores and restaurants are 20 minutes away so prepare for that. The walking trail and Jacuzzi are the highlights.

My partner and I stayed here for a much needed romantic getaway and the cabin was amazing. The hot tub was working and so lovely on the chilly nights we stayed. The cabin was a clean space and we were very grateful for all the cleaning supplies that were available. It made checking out so easy. We would definitely book here again! This cottage was perfect for a relaxing get-a-way with great views! The hosts are very responsive as well! We enjoyed our stay very much! There is a big house near the end of the driveway, but it still feels very private!

If you are looking to stay in this area look no further. It’s right next to a giant beautiful house that’s off to the side so you can have privacy. The hot tub is amazing. The central air works great. Plenty of place to store stuff. It used to be an old security guard post to watch over the giant house being built. So you can park your car under the covered roof.
This was my first time staying at an AirBnB. I normally don’t and stay at chain hotels like Marriott because I felt uncomfortable staying at an AirBnb. This totally changed how I feel about staying AirBnB’s I didn’t have to worry about anything. Felt secure and the place was pristine clean. The driveway is new. It’s a beautiful location. The hot tub water was changed before arrival. Honestly everything was great. Highly recommend this place.

This was the perfect spot for a couples weekend getaway. The scenery is gorgeous, the little cottage was super cute and met all of our needs. The patio with hot tub was perfect after long days out! We will definitely return when we need to unplug and recharge again 🙂
My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights in the cottage and it was perfect! We both thought it felt bigger than it looks in the photos. It was super easy to find. The hot tub was fantastic after spending our days exploring outside. We visited Mount Mitchell, Pearson’s Falls and Glenn, Chimney Rock, and Wiseman’s View. The area is so beautiful and there are views in every direction. The view of the mountains from the cottage was beautiful to admire while sitting by the fire. We will definitely be back!

Great place ! If your looking for a get away this is the place too go. I loved it it was everything and so so nice ! Eric communication was great very responsive if we needed anything. Great location if you want to explore around. The house was very clean and just like the pictures. I would definitely take a trip back and book Eric’s place!
