Hole in One - Hot Tub, Fishing, Fireplace, Views, Wi-Fi, Pet-Friendly

The cabin checked all our must haves: safe and secure, spotless, cozy, and comfortable, surrounded by mountains and perfectly rural. It's a 2-bd, 2-bath home set on the golf course surrounded by mtns. (Note: the listing says 1 bedroom that’s incorrect.) The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and it's own bathroom. One highlight was the babbling brook by the master bedroom that lulled us to sleep. The master mattress is firm and comfortable; we slept well every night of our stay. The place is extremely clean. I’m pretty particular and felt comfortable with the cleanliness. The only small issue was the master shower needing a little TLC; I used shower shoes and it wasn’t a problem. Our host was extremely responsive & went above and beyond. We used the fireplace and the hot tub without any issues. The fenced backyard was a big plus for our dogs. Approx. 40 mins to Asheville. Overall: serene, well-kept and host-oriented. A great base for hiking and a very relaxing stay. Highly recommend

The gps tells you the opposite of the hosts instructions. And it’s a decline driveway where in the notes it says incline which made it harder to find but overall a very easy check in and check out. Detailed list of rules that are easy to understand. I loved the journal entries from people who have stayed in the past.

very quiet place, only saw golfers driving by on carts every once in a while. our dog loved the fenced in yard. very comfy bed.

The Hole in One is AMAZING! Private, right on the golf course, gorgeous surroundings, awesome responsive host, delightful creek running through the yard, I could go on and on. My husband and I had the best little weekend getaway ever. The hot tub is a fabulous bonus. Don't hesitate to book this place if you have a chance. I imagine the opportunity will not come around often. The Hole in One is a true gem and I can't wait to visit again!

Eric’s place was the perfect getaway for us! The house was roomy and very comfortable to relax inside or outside listening to the peaceful stream. Eric was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. We will definitely be back!

This was such a beautiful home and the minute we walked in the door we felt right at home. Eric has made sure to take care of any needs a guest could have and it is si tastefully decorated, the hot tub was a dream and if there's anything I would say to maybe add a screen or some kind of partition in front of the hot tub so the golfers cant see you getting in and out of hot tub, but its a minor detail, This home features an awesome fenced area and there are high end hand crank windows that bring the beautiful scenery into the house but I think my favorite part of this place was the creek that you can hear through out the house when the windows are open, I really couldn't figure out the fireplace but I am certain that was user error. This was a very private location, yes it on a golf course however the way its built and the location itself made it very secluded and private. Really loved this place,

My husband and had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and private stay with amazing amenities such as a hot tub and fireplace! It was very relaxing to look out the windows with a beautiful view of the golf course and mountains behind it. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed listening to the soothing sounds of the creek running alongside the house. We loved staring at the stars in the hot tub and relaxing after a long day of hiking. I highly recommend eating at the Pisgah Inn and the Tavern located right in the Springdale Resort community. Excellent food and only a 1/2 mile from the cabin. We are looking forward to a return visit to this very spot!

We loved staying at Eric’s! We really enjoyed the hot tub and the sound of the creek in the backyard. It was a perfect, relaxing getaway. Our doggos also loved the fenced in backyard.

Eric was very responsive, the home was a realy well laid space with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. he was very accommodating and the views and sound of the stream were great.

I was under the impression there would be a great deal of privacy, when we showed up there was like 20 people outside and people riding around everywhere on golf carts, but every other aspect of this place was just incredible.
loved how clean and roomy it was, the creek by the house, and hardwood everything was really neat! the house does make a lot of sounds at night so don't be alarmed, and also be aware there are no curtains on the dining room or kitchen windows. overall we really enjoyed our stay here and it was a nice place for what we needed.

I definitely recommend for a weekend away from the city. Thank you for everything!!

A fine getaway.

After falling down pretty hard hiking downhill then our previous reservation cancelling on us last minute, we were so thankful for Eric's quick response that he could accommodate us. We we so please to have a comfortable and private space for the night.

We had a lovely stay at this home! We enjoyed the hot tub and the lovely, peaceful location of this home. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay.

So nice we had to stay twice 🙂 We love the seclusion (minus the golfers occasionally rolling by in carts, which didn't bother us at all), the giant, empty rooms with high ceilings, the cleanliness, and all of the lovely trees and nature surrounding the house. Our favorite thing, though, is the babbling creek that goes right by the house, making the most peaceful soundtrack to fall asleep to. We'll be back a third time for sure!

We took a few days to celebrate our anniversary & this place was wonderful! Far enough away from town and still close enough to town for our liking. It was very quiet, we enjoy watching the golfers.

Very beautiful house with a great view of the golf course. Loved the back deck with hot tub. The pups had a great time playing in the creek, and I liked the fact there was no extra charge for them. Eric was a great host who was always very helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a really great spot. The place looks better than the photos. It was very clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need, and it's in a beautiful location. One of our favorite features was the creek that runs next to the property. It worked better than a white noise machine to help us sleep. Even though it is right across from the golf course it still felt pretty private. The proximity to Asheville and Waynesville was convenient as well. Our host was very helpful and quick to respond to our questions. We had a really hard time leaving and can't wait to come back!

It was the perfect get away for my husband and myself..

Eric’s place was the perfect getaway. It was private, clean, convenient, and had many amenities. We really enjoyed the hot tub and grill. The trunk tables were a nice touch. We would definitely book here again!

Beautiful place, felt very safe and private! Eric answered very quickly whenever I had a question. I will say everything was pretty clean except for the bathroom in the room. Other than that everything was a 10 out of 10! Hope to be back and will be recommending this place for my friends

Not a golfer but what a beautiful coarse. Close to many hiking trails, blueberries are ripe up at Graveyard fields. Had an awesome thunderstorm the night of check in. Nice place, thanks for sharing.

Absolutely wonderful home! Everything is exactly as described, and Eric is the most responsive host ever.
Great location, too. Golf course is fun to play at, and there are a lot of great hiking trails nearby as well as Asheville right around the corner for larger selection of restaurants etc. Can't wait to be back!

Beautiful home, amazing setting. We slept with the sliding door open to hear the stream. Drive into Asheville wasn’t bad either, and actually very scenic. Would definitely stay again.

This cottage is great. We had a great time just watching the golfers and listening to the creek. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. I am going to go back again.
